MIDI notes are no longer recorded late by the delay compensation value (PT-220861)Breakpoint Editing. Grid Toggle is disabled when adjusting automation, MIDI, or Clip Gain breakpoint controls in Slip Mode to avoid conflict with fine-control editing (PT-221294). Pressing the Command key (Mac) or Control key (Windows) while editing automation and MIDI breakpoints now suppresses Grid mode and enables fine-control editing. This is now consistent with breakpoint editing behavior for Clip Gain. Fine-control editing can be disengaged during mouse-down by releasing the Command key (Mac) or Control key (Windows), and then re-engaged by pressing the Command key (Mac) or Control key (Windows) again (PT-221952). Using the Smart Tool to add a breakpoint on a Clip Gain line no longer incorrectly constrains the breakpoint to the nearest grid line (PT-221919).

Fixed multiple automation breakpoint editing inconsistencies with Grabber Tool (PT-221862)Editing. The Tandem Trimming option (introduced in Pro Tools 12.6) has been removed from the Options menu. Ok so I have an issue recording vocals in Pro Tools 10 and 11 via the UAD Apollo Quad Console. I'm using the latest version of Auto Tune for future reference and using the Low Latency monitoring function in Pro Tools I'm attempting to record my vocal artists. I'm not having any issues getting no latency except when trying to use AutoTune on the Vocal AUX that my tracks are being routed through. I have the audio track armed and muted in order to utilize that zero latency monitoring of the Console app but by using that function it automatically eliminates my vocalists ability to hear themselves through the aux track and autotuning. I've also attempting to place the autotune instance on the track itself that I'm recording on but by using Low Latency Monitoring in Pro Tools that automatically bypasses all inserts on that channel. Would love some input (no pun intended)Here's my setupI am running Mac OS 10.8.5Pro Tools 10 & Pro tools 11The latest version of UA console and utilityPreAmp is UA TwinfinityMonitoring through Dangerous Music D-BoxI definitely have the power and RAM to use these programs with ample processing power to spare (6 core 4ghz Hackintosh with 32GB ram) and TB's of harddrive space to space as well. PLEASE HELP!.

I would agree with SFW. We usually capture between 10 and 15 lines per record pass on our apollo 16. Usually there is a vocal from the booth and we never apply any processing via inserts in Pro Tools as the low latency monitoring option will turn off all inserts on any pro tools channel that is in record mode. You do not have to mute the pro tools channels.

If this is done correctly there is no latency doubling of any track this way. We have four lines in the UA software console (cue 1 - 4) assigned to apollo 16 analog outs driving our furman headphone system. The UA Apollo 16 monitor outputs are routed to our analog studio console so we can add the talkback line to the stereo (2 mix) bus that goes to the other two lines of the furman system. Our studio control room monitors are driven from the CR center section of the desk.

YourDbox can accomplish all of this with no problems. We will apply verb from one of the UA console channel Aux Sends if needed for the player/singer(s) and Insert whatever plugs we need on the UA console inserts. We may or may not print to tape (actually computer - just gave away my years of doing this) but never apply anything (pitch correction, etc) to the pro tools side until after the tracking is done. Capture first, tune, shape, fix, delay - later.PM if you have any questionsSkip BrownFinal Track StudiosRoanoke, Va. I've always followed this method but due to the 'talent' wanting to hear themselves and 'work' the AutoTune effect in their recording, is the reason why I'm asking how to do so while still achieving no latency. I thought about AT Live being a solution but was hoping it could be achieved using the full version.

Looks like I'll have to sell my copy of AT7 and get the Live version to get the results I'd like. Thanks for all the inputSame issue here. Anyine doing any pop or r&B has to be able to monitor through a tuning plug in. UA needs to release a tuning plug for this to be an option on apollo. Its huge hinderance to do it now without one.
